The Village of Cumberland
The Village of Cumberland is the recreation and cultural centre for the Comox Valley. Located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Cumberland's rich history dates back to the late 1800's. Cumberland saw many years of rapid growth with the successful coal mining industry, followed by a slow decline, and more recently a resurgence once again to a thriving, bustling mecca for outdoor enthusiasts, artists and craftspeople, writers and musicians.
It remains one of the most culturally rich small communities on Vancouver Island with all the amenities necessary for leading a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle, raising a family, retiring and vacationing.
